helps trained medical professional consider herbal options for diseases and dysfunctions seen in the clinic

focuses on anatomy/physiology review, herbs for each body system, evidence-based protocols, & traditional herbal formulas
Classes are combination of lecture, discussion, and participation with opportunities to sample herbal teas, tinctures, and topical formulas to notice the sensation in the body.
With each body system covered, students will create theoretical formulas for specific practice patients and medical conditions to reinforce the teaching. Students are provided an extensive class handbook of class notes, clinical reviews, and traditional formulas as a foundation to facilitate learning.
