Spring Respite Campout
A Weekend of relaxation and connection with our plant and HERBalachia community

The Spring Respite Campout:
An Herbalist Lifestyle Gathering
Friday, May 29, 2026- Sunday, May 31, 2026
Katy Branch in the Cherokee National Forest
The Invitation
In the rush of the spring green wave, it is easy for herbalists to find themselves busy with the work of the plants while forgetting to simply be with them. We invite the HERBalachia community to return to the woods for a low-key, restorative weekend designed to nourish the herbalist. This is not a weekend of lectures and exams. It is a weekend of connection, creative play, and communal rest.
The Experience
-
Foraging: Wander the late-May landscape to identify and ethically harvest seasonal abundance.
-
Create: Craft handmade nature journals and capture the beauty of the forest.
-
Invoke: Participate in a Flower Essence ceremony to honor the peak of the bloom.
-
Move: Daily sunrise yoga and meditation to ground our bodies in the forest.
-
Play: Reclaim your Inner Child with flower crowns, fairy houses, and forest wandering.
-
Nourish: Co-create a Stone Soup feast over an open fire followed by an evening of acoustic music and storytelling by the hearth.
-
Friday Night Potluck
